Okeanus’ oceanographic instrumentation winches’ efficient and compact designs enable research and data collection from vessels of any size operating in waters with depths of up to 10,000m. Available in multiple frame sizes and configurations with a variety of optional features, Okeanus winches support a wide range of sampling applications, from small CTD’s to large environmental samplers and towed arrays.
The Okeanus launch and recovery systems (LARS) are designed for dependability, ease-of-use and safe handling of subsea equipment in the harshest environmental conditions. SOSI handling systems have an exemplary track record for safe and efficient operation in high sea state and are designed with the operator in mind.
Okeanus ocean observation buoys are designed for moored applications in open ocean, coastal, or protected waters. Buoys, including standard body sizes, towers, and bridles, are configurable with a variety of meteorological and oceanographic sensors and telemetry to meet your data requirements.
Okeanus offers a variety of Global Positioning System products and system integration services for Data Buoys and Subsea Systems. At the core of these systems is the GPS Receiver Model GPSR-X015G and the Submersible GPS-Iridium Antenna. The GPS receivers are provided with depth ratings of 500m, 3,000m, and 6,000m.
